FOR THOSE WITH TREES IMPACTED BY THIS WILD STORM:

We don't want anyone living with a tree that's in an active state of failure or is blocking any access you need.

It's really important to both Nick and I that our friends and clients get in touch whenever they're in need of storm damage assistance- by this we mean you can get in touch with us outside of usual work hours and on weekends during storms and their aftermath.

You are welcome to get in touch immediately in these instances. The number to call is 0410 878 589.

Nick and I have set aside tomorrow to go and assess a bunch of trees in Inverloch and help secure any that need immediate attention. Nick has a strength in dealing with precarious storm damaged trees and can come up with ways to secure very large, failing branches and trees over buildings.

Call if you’d like to be added to our list of trees we’re assessing and if we notice anything when we're on site that we think should get immediate attention we’ll give you a call and probably be able to deal with it on the spot.

Otherwise, we can assess and then send through a quote quite quickly with the goal of attending to do the work within the next two weeks if you give us the go ahead. How's that for a plan?

Hi, we’re Amanda Woodhams & Nick Bond. Together we’re the team at Botanic Projects.

We are both qualified AQF Level 5 consulting arborists, AQF Level 3 climbing arborists and Amanda is also a qualified, Burnley trained horticulturist trained by master gardeners.

Maybe you already have a great arborist but they’re not necessarily the person you’d engage to help you make decisions about the comprehensive care of your most important trees or the pruning of an old tree that requires a sensitive approach?

Following a six-year period of gaining our qualifications, we founded this business in 2020 and set out on a three-year journey to climb and prune our way around Australia's gardens.

Along the way, we gained the practical skills to manage significant trees, as well as a national perspective on the state of tree care and what it will take to grow the next generation of canopy.

Since finishing the expedition at the end of 2022, we settled down in Nick's hometown of Inverloch, VIC. Here, we find satisfaction in applying our skills towards enhancing the canopy of South Gippsland. We’re here for the long haul.

An example of our work

Our clients were kicking off a fresh chapter in their garden and wanted us to bring clarity to the shape of their feature Banksia integrifolia (Coastal Banksia).
